the short track i made yesterday into the snow enabled pretty enjoyable skiing today

it is 21:45 at there is light outside

incredibly boring day
there is noone here
we cleaned our apartment in the morning, it truly deserved it
then i was reading and made food
gray clouds all day
there was some sunshine in the afternoon, i went for a short skiing, but the conditions were bad, the snow was very wet and spongy
i took a nap for 2-3 hours
and now I turned on the sauna

this weekend is totally empty

no guests, nobody in vasatokka

so we decided to hitchhike to rovaniemi, the capital of lapland, only 330 kilometers

we could easily go to ivalo, where we got stuck for hours, nobody picked us up

we went to alko and then we decided to go back to vasatokka

it got rainy

no traffic, hopeless situation

Lukas was burning plastic sticks along the road

then finally after long walks we got back

i was thinking about finnish drivers

everybody looks so friendly, but when it is about being friendly they drive away

now i can do nothing but drinking

lukas is unbearable now

intellectual task I had today

i had to write posts to vasatokkas fb page in finnish

sari (my mentor) said they were awful, and rewrote everything from beginning

my self-esteem was ruined

i am piece of ground meat
in the afternoon we went skiing form Inari to a wooden church in the middle of the forest
the first part on the lake, wet ice
amazing view again, sunshine came from behind, dark clouds were visible ahead
then forest, small lake, forest, small lake, forest, small lake...
i was somehow very powerless, low with energy, after 10 kilometers i was suffering, my shoulders were in pain
it took almost 5 hours altogether, not more than 20 kilometers

sauna soon!

sleet all day

so last night a school group with children at age 12-13 has arrived
today we took them to quinzee building and ice-fishing and Lukas came out with 3-4 of the 80 games he knows
i tried to explain the kids in finnish how to use the gps, i was ridiculed

after dinner we went for a walk to a little lookout tower few hundred meters from here, enjoyed the view, tranquility and silence
we measured, the time between noticing a closing car and its arrival was 3 minutes

Hooray, I got a Márquez from Inari library (which is in the same building with the Saami parliament).

Sauna time, I havent been for 4 or 5 days.
